CS300M Potentiostat/Galvanostat (Without EIS)
CS300M Single-Channel Potentiostat/Galvanostat for Routine Electrochemistry
The CS300M electrochemical workstation is a laboratory potentiostat/galvanostat designed for reliable DC electrochemical measurements where electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) is not required. It combines a digital waveform generator with high-speed acquisition electronics to control electrode potential or current and record the electrochemical response with strong stability—ideal for routine methods in corrosion, electroanalysis and battery cycling.
Principle of operation
In potentiostatic mode, the CS300M precisely controls the working electrode potential versus a reference electrode and measures current at the counter electrode. In galvanostatic mode, it controls current and measures the resulting potential response—supporting common 2-, 3- or 4-electrode configurations.
Key specifications and features
- Potential control range: ±10 V
- Current control range / max output: up to ±2 A (multi-range down to nA levels)
- Compliance voltage: ±21 V
- Potential resolution: down to a few µV (frequency dependent)
- Data acquisition: high-speed digitisation for transient and scan techniques
- Connectivity & software: USB control with PC software on Windows
Supported techniques (selected)
- OCP, potentiostatic I–t, galvanostatic steps
- CV, LSV, staircase voltammetry
