In-Situ XAS H-Cell — Dual-Compartment with Membrane
Dual-compartment in-situ XAS H-cell with PEEK body
Description
The In-Situ XAS H-Cell (Dual-Compartment) introduces a replaceable ion-exchange membrane between anode and cathode chambers to prevent bulk crossover while preserving X-ray access through Kapton® windows. The PEEK construction provides chemical robustness; gas inlet/outlet ports enable precise atmosphere control; and the layout supports 2- or 3-electrode operation for rigorous electrochemical protocols.
This configuration is ideal for electrocatalysis and electrolysis where compartmentalization is essential (e.g., CO₂RR vs OER/HER half-reactions), allowing operando observation of oxidation-state changes and coordination-shell evolution under realistic split-cell conditions.
