The CS5010B is a high-power auxiliary module that extends a compatible potentiostat’s output to ±10 A and ±50 V, enabling rigorous electrochemical experiments that demand higher current and voltage headroom. When paired with a Corrtest potentiostat, the combination preserves precision control and impedance measurement capability for advanced research workflows.

Principle of Operation

CS5010B functions as a power booster in the potentiostatic/galvanostatic control loop: the base potentiostat provides set-points and measurement, while the booster supplies amplified drive to the cell. The system supports EIS from 1 µHz to 10 kHz with a fixed 10 A range and ±50 V compliance, communicating via RS-485 for robust instrument control.
