The Multi8x BC-PMMA-5.0 add-on is designed for experiments that require parallel electrochemical measurements using up to eight thin-film (micro)electrodes simultaneously. Each chamber can handle larger sample volumes of up to 400 µL per cell, making it ideal for batch-based analysis. This module securely mounts onto the Multi8x AIO base cell with simple screw fittings, while every cell is individually sealed with a 5 mm inner-diameter O-ring. The cell array is arranged to match a single column (A→H) of a standard 96-well microplate, ensuring compatibility with multi-well laboratory workflows.

The Multi-Electrode Chip platform offers a robust yet straightforward connection with any multi-channel potentiostat, supporting both thin-film single electrodes and interdigitated multi-electrodes. Designed for convenience, this system allows:

  • Reliable stationary-state measurements with 1–5 µL sample droplets per cell

  • Tool-free setup for fast assembly

  • Quick electrode replacement for flexible testing

The platform comes with two mini-USB boxes, two IDC connectors, and universal cables, enabling up to 48 independent connections to nearly any commercial (multi)potentiostat. For instrumentation versatility, cables are available in two versions:

  • 2 mm female banana plugs (with male adapter included)

  • 2 mm male banana plugs (with crocodile clips included)

This powerful configuration provides maximum adaptability for advanced electrochemical research, high-throughput testing, and multi-sample analysis.
