Description

Designed for rapid flow-field experimentation, this MEA cell uses high-purity PTFE bipolar plates for exceptional corrosion resistance. Researchers can interchange channel geometries—commonly serpentine—to study mass-transport and flooding behaviour under identical operating conditions. Standard active areas include 10×10, 20×20, 30×30, and 50×50 mm, supported by titanium clamping hardware for strength and durability. The sealing design is optimised for repeatable compression of PEM or AEM membranes, and the modular plate system enables fast reconfiguration without compromising leak-tightness. Ideal for CO2RR, water electrolysis, and general electrocatalysis, the cell provides a flexible platform to screen catalysts, gaskets, and diffusion layers while keeping the cell body constant.
