The QD-150 Pneumatic Coin Cell Crimping Machine is a compact, gas-driven sealing tool designed for repeatable crimping of CR20xx coin cells in battery and electrochemistry laboratories. By using controlled pneumatic pressure, it delivers consistent sealing force with minimal operator variability—ideal for research workflows where cell-to-cell reproducibility matters.
Principle of operation
The system converts regulated gas pressure into a vertical crimping stroke via a pneumatic actuator. A precision crimping die set forms a uniform seal around the coin cell cap and case. A manual valve enables controlled pressurisation and release during each sealing cycle.

- Gas source: 0.6–0.8 MPa argon or nitrogen (compressed air supported, but not recommended for glovebox use)
