The TOB-DG-100L Electric Roller Press Machine is a compact laboratory calender designed to densify and smooth coated electrode sheets after coating and drying. By passing the electrode laminate through two hardened rollers under controlled gap settings, the roller press reduces thickness, increases active material packing density, and improves electrode uniformity—key factors that influence ionic transport, electronic contact, porosity, and repeatability in electrochemistry and battery testing.

How it works

A motor-driven dual-roller mechanism draws the electrode sheet through an adjustable roller gap. Thickness is set using a dial gauge, enabling controlled compression across a defined width. The adjustable rolling speed helps researchers optimise dwell time and calendering conditions for different chemistries and binders.
