The DF-160 Electric Coin Cell Crimping Machine is a compact, motor-driven benchtop press designed to seal CR20-series coin cells with controlled, repeatable force. During crimping, a matched die set applies a defined compressive load to the coin cell cap/can stack (including the gasket), creating a uniform mechanical crimp that improves seal integrity and reduces cell-to-cell variability—critical for electrochemistry and battery testing workflows.

How it works

A built-in electric drive actuates a vertical press stroke while the user sets the sealing pressure on the digital interface. The system displays the applied pressure in real time, enabling consistent sealing across batches without relying on manual “feel”.
