The Automatic Battery Electrode Slitting Machine is designed for high-precision roll-to-roll slitting of coated and calendered battery electrodes used in lithium-ion and related advanced battery systems. It is suitable for electrode materials such as LFP, LCO, LMO, NMC, LTO and graphite after rolling, enabling clean conversion of wide coated foil rolls into narrower strips for downstream cell assembly. The working principle is based on controlled unwinding, traction-guided feeding, precision rolling slitting, and stable rewinding, supported by tension control and correction systems to maintain straightness and minimise burr formation.
