Interdigitated Ring Array (IDRA)

Interdigitated Microelectrode Arrays are precision-engineered devices available in either gold or platinum with customizable electrode widths and spacing. They are typically protected with an SU8/PI resin coating, which defines the electrochemical area and enables experiments using extremely small liquid volumes. For research that requires direct electrode exposure, versions without this protective passivation layer can also be supplied. This adaptability gives researchers the freedom to choose the setup that aligns best with their analytical goals.

Platinum Thin-Film Interdigitated Ring Array (IDRA1-Pt – 10 µm / 10 µm).

The IDRA1-Pt features 12 interdigitated electrode pairs made from platinum, each with a 10 µm width and 10 µm spacing. The electrodes are arranged in a circular, radial layout specifically designed to enhance performance in flow-based analytical systems. This configuration ensures high sensitivity and is fully compatible with Drop, AIO, and Multi8x AIO electrochemical platforms.

Gold Thin-Film Interdigitated Ring Array (IDRA1-Au – 10 µm / 10 µm).

The IDRA1-Au consists of 12 pairs of gold interdigitated microelectrodes, also built with the 10 µm width and separation format. Its radial geometry supports efficient flow dynamics, making it a robust option for continuous or dynamic analysis. Like the platinum version, it works seamlessly with Drop, AIO, and Multi8x AIO measurement cells.
