Single Electrodes (SE)

Thin-film Single Electrodes (SE) can be fabricated in gold, platinum, or a combination of both metals (Au + Pt). By default, they come with a protective SU8/PI resin coating that defines the electrochemical cell and allows experiments with minimal sample volumes. For applications requiring direct surface access, SEs can also be supplied without this passivation layer upon request. Select the configuration that aligns best with your research needs.

Thin-film Gold Single Electrodes (SE1-Au) are designed with a three-electrode gold configuration, ensuring high reproducibility both within and across electrodes. These versatile sensors are well-suited for diverse analytical applications, such as the detection of explosives, thiols, and DNA. They also serve as an excellent platform for the development of enzyme-based and immunosensing assays. SE1-Au electrodes are fully compatible with Drop, AIO, and Multi8x AIO cell systems.
