The 5-Port Corrosion Cell is specifically designed for evaluating metal samples under corrosive conditions. Ideal for a wide range of electrochemical corrosion studies, this setup supports rapid, repeatable testing in both ambient and elevated temperature environments (excluding HF). Custom high-temperature versions are available upon request.


Included Components

  • Working Electrode Holder – 1 cm² exposed surface area (1 unit)

  • Stainless Steel Electrode Tip (1 unit)

  • Graphite Rod Electrodes (2 units)

  • Platinum Plate Electrodes – 10 mm × 10 mm × 0.1 mm (2 units)

  • Saturated Calomel Reference Electrode (SCE) (1 unit)

  • Salt Bridge (1 unit)

  • F-Shaped Gas Tube – for inlet and outlet gas handling



Port Configuration and Compatibility

  • Central Working Electrode Port:
    Supports standard specimen holders, stainless steel, or user-supplied custom electrodes.

  • Dual Counter Electrode Ports:
    Compatible with graphite rods or platinum plates for symmetric or high-precision measurements.

  • Reference Electrode Port:
    Designed for standard SCE or Ag/AgCl reference electrodes.

  • Gas Inlet/Outlet Port:
    Enables purging or inert gas blanketing via F-type aeration tube.
