Description
This jacketed flat corrosion cell is designed for quantitative studies on planar coupons and coated panels where temperature control and stable electrode geometry are critical. The borosilicate glass body integrates a fluid jacket for circulating thermostatic media, ensuring steady setpoints during long EIS or rate measurements. A multi-port glass top provides dedicated ports for working electrode holder, reference electrode (Ag/AgCl or SCE), one or two counter electrodes (graphite or platinum), and gas inlet/outlet or a salt bridge, enabling straightforward DC polarisation, EIS, and galvanic testing workflows. Materials such as PTFE end-caps and chemical-resistant seals help maintain leak-free performance across common corrosion media (HF excluded).
Typical working volumes span a few hundred millilitres, with flat-coupon holders standard; choose port and accessory options to match your potentiostat. This format mirrors widely adopted jacketed general-purpose/flat-specimen cells used in research and QA, offering reliable results with minimal setup time.
Jacketed, double-deck flat corrosion cell, water circulation for temperature control, suitable for flat plate specimen. The cell chamber bottom has an indentation design, this design is available for the user to place the magnetic stirrer on the flat cell bottom for magnetic stirring, for getting a better diffusion experimental performance.
The working area is 1cm2
