Corrosion Speciman Holder

Description

The Corrosion specimen holder is designed to define and isolate the working electrode (WE) surface during electrochemical measurements. It provides reliable electrical contact while ensuring only the intended surface of the specimen is exposed to the electrolyte.

Key Features

• Controlled working area: Exposes a fixed electrode surface of 1 cm², allowing accurate comparison of electrochemical data.
• Sample compatibility: Accommodates circular specimens with diameters between 11.5–15 mm and thicknesses from 0.1 mm to 5 mm.
• Selective exposure: Ensures that only one face of the specimen is in contact with the electrolyte, preventing unwanted side or back reactions.
• Insulating support: Equipped with a PEEK/PTFE rod (10 mm diameter, 100 mm length) that provides chemical resistance and electrical insulation.
• Electrical contact: Features a stainless-steel or brass rod (20 mm length) that establishes a stable, low-resistance connection to the specimen.
