PAP Pack Tape is a PET-film, single-sided acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape engineered for lithium battery assembly, where reliable electrical insulation, clean handling, and stable adhesion are essential. This tape is commonly used for temporary fixation, bundling, wrapping, and pack/part retention steps during pouch and prismatic cell build processes.
Working mechanism
Acrylic PSAs form an intimate, viscoelastic bond to common battery-manufacturing substrates (PET/PI films, coated foils, polymer housings and many plastics). The PET backing provides dimensional stability and tensile reinforcement, while the acrylic adhesive delivers consistent peel strength and controlled unwind—supporting repeatable manual or jig-assisted assembly. The tape is designed to peel away cleanly, helping reduce residue-related contamination risk around sensitive electrochemical components.
