Silver Wire Pseudo Reference Electrode
Silver Wire Pseudo Reference Electrode
Description
The Silver Wire Pseudo Reference Electrode provides a compact, stable, and easy-to-integrate reference option for electrochemical systems where a standard reference electrode is impractical. Constructed from high-purity silver (99.99%) and encased in a durable, chemically inert glass or PTFE body, it offers excellent resistance to corrosion and contamination.
Commonly used in non-aqueous, ionic liquid, or microfluidic electrochemical setups, the pseudo reference maintains a reproducible potential suitable for comparative measurements, thin-film studies, and sensor calibrations. Its simple, maintenance-free design makes it ideal for confined cells such as screen-printed electrodes, miniature H-cells, or flow systems.
Available in different wire diameters and lengths, the electrode ensures reliable performance and compatibility with a wide range of potentiostat configurations.
