EF-350 Turntable Vacuum Sealing Machine

EF-350 Turntable Vacuum Sealing Machine

Overview

The EF-350 Turntable Vacuum Sealing Machine is designed for final vacuum sealing of medium-size pouch cells after formation, and is also suitable for selected supercapacitor sealing workflows. It combines vacuum extraction, heat sealing, and rotary indexing in a turntable-based format to improve sealing consistency, throughput, and operator efficiency in battery research and pilot-scale production environments.

Principle of operation

The system uses a loading/unloading station and a sealing station arranged around a rotary turntable. After the pouch cell is positioned, the chamber closes to create a sealed cavity. The machine then applies vacuum, followed by hot-press sealing under controlled temperature and time conditions. Independent upper and lower heating head control helps maintain seal quality across aluminium-laminated pouch materials, while the turntable workflow supports repeatable positioning between cycles.

Compatibility and applications

This machine is well suited to lithium-ion pouch cell R&D, pilot-line pouch cell assembly, supercapacitor packaging, and laboratories developing repeatable final sealing workflows after electrolyte filling and formation. It fits naturally alongside related ScienceGears categories such as battery cyclers, glove boxes, electrode preparation tools, and electrochemical characterisation platforms.

Why choose ScienceGears

ScienceGears supports researchers and engineers in Australia and New Zealand with technically guided equipment selection, integration support, and application-focused advice. For labs building reliable pouch cell workflows, the EF-350 offers a practical balance of vacuum performance, thermal control, sealing precision, and production-oriented handling. It is a strong option for teams seeking more consistent final pouch sealing than manual bench-top methods while maintaining flexibility for research and pilot manufacturing.
