SCX-400 Manual Aluminium Pouch Forming Machine
SCX-400 Manual Aluminium Pouch Forming Machine
Manual pouch forming for aluminium laminated battery film
The SCX-400 Manual Aluminium Pouch Forming Machine is designed for shaping aluminium laminated film into pouch cell cases used in lithium polymer batteries, supercapacitors, and related pouch-format energy storage devices. In a typical workflow, a pre-cut aluminium laminated film sheet is positioned over the forming die and pressed into a defined cavity under controlled force. This creates a repeatable pouch cup that can then proceed to electrode stacking, tab positioning, electrolyte filling, vacuum sealing, and subsequent electrochemical testing.
Working principle and key features
This machine uses a die-based mechanical forming approach to stretch and shape laminated film into a customised pouch geometry suitable for research, pilot-scale, and small production environments. Key technical features include:
- Suitable for aluminium laminated film thickness of approximately 0.1–0.2 mm
- Suitable film size up to 400 × 300 mm, with customised pouch dimensions available
- Adjustable output pressure up to 5 T
- Compressed air requirement of approximately 0.5–0.7 MPa
- S136 die steel mould construction for wear resistance and dimensional consistency
- Typical throughput of around 200–500 pieces per hour
- Approximate machine dimensions of 700 × 650 × 1900 mm
Compatibility and applications
The SCX-400 is well suited to lithium-ion pouch cell development, lithium polymer battery packaging, supercapacitor pouch preparation, and battery pilot-line process development. It fits naturally into a broader pouch cell workflow with related equipment such as electrode die cutters, stacking machines, vacuum heat sealers, electrolyte filling systems, and battery cyclers.
