RY-300 Manual Hot Press Moulding Machine

The RY-300 Manual Hot Press Moulding Machine is designed for controlled hot pressing of polymer battery cores and supercapacitor cores during laboratory and pilot-scale manufacturing. In pouch-cell workflows, hot pressing is commonly used after stacking or winding to improve thickness uniformity, flatten the cell body, and support more consistent downstream packaging and sealing. This unit combines heated press platens with adjustable dwell time so researchers can apply repeatable thermal and mechanical shaping conditions to flexible electrochemical assemblies.

Principle of operation

The system uses a heated press plate arrangement to apply pressure and temperature simultaneously to the sample. The operator places the cell stack or core between the platens, sets the required temperature and pressing time, and initiates the pressing cycle. Controlled heating softens and stabilises the laminate structure, while compression improves contact, shape retention, and dimensional consistency. This is especially useful for polymer batteries, laminated pouch cells, and supercapacitor cores that require careful flattening before further testing or packaging.
