CP-500 500 mm Electrode Cutting Machine

This 500 mm electrode cutting machine is designed to convert wide, coated electrode rolls into repeatable sheet lengths after slurry coating and drying, or after calendering (rolling press). It supports both cathode and anode electrodes and can also be used for aluminium-laminated films commonly found in pouch-cell workflows.

How it works

A motor-driven feed system advances the web from a roll while a shear-cutting mechanism produces clean, square cuts at the programmed length. Two operating approaches are commonly used in electrode processing:

• Fixed-length mode for continuous-coated electrodes where every cut is identical.
• Sensor-triggered (induction) mode for gap-coated electrodes, where a sensor detects the coating pattern and triggers cutting to maintain alignment with coated/uncoated regions.
