The FT-300 Electric Electrode Slitting Machine is designed for clean, repeatable slitting of cathode and anode electrode rolls after calendaring (pressing). It uses paired upper and lower circular cutters in a gapless (no-clearance) cutting configuration, helping produce neat edges and stable strip widths—critical for downstream winding, stacking, and reliable cell performance.

Working principle

A motor-driven rolling slitting mechanism synchronises the upper and lower blades. Electrode material is guided through an adjustable feed-positioning system, and the blade engagement (meshing) is tuned via a handwheel to match electrode thickness and coating behaviour. This controlled mechanical shear reduces burr formation and supports dimensional accuracy across multiple strips.
