The SY300J Lab Coating Machine is a lab-scale slurry film coater with an integrated drying oven, designed for repeatable coating and drying of functional layers on metal foils and other substrates. It supports both continuous coating and interval coating modes, helping researchers optimise electrode formulation and process parameters before pilot-scale transfer.

How it works

A prepared slurry is applied onto a moving substrate using a controlled coating head/roller system. The coated web immediately passes through a heated oven section to drive solvent removal and form a uniform dry film. Key process variables—coating width, dry thickness, line speed, and drying temperature—can be tuned to match the behaviour of battery electrode slurries and other viscous dispersions.
